We then took the same concept and feel in our own directions…

We then took what we’d each managed to do to the final crit.

We then decided to take mine forward, and made a number of changes together based on the feedback we got in the crit.

The first spread’s colours were lightened, and together we improved the layout:

The second spread was also made into a single page, and we improved on the colours together:

The feedback then was that the single page colours still weren’t working; that it looked a little too laboured.

So I made the following changes to that ready for the hand-in and ready for the final newspaper:
